Pre-1876 W. & L. E. Gurley
Vernier Compass (For Parts)
This is a very nice pre-1876 Gurley vernier surveyor's compass that
we are parting out. The tangent screw is in great condition.
The vernier locking screw is in great condition.
The level vials are both in great condition. Compass Glass is good.
(We can also cut Compass glass to fit any size) The Glass retaining
ring is in bad condition and cannot be sold separately of the housing. Needle and lifter are in great condition.
Vernier Scale is good.
The base plate is slightly bent which is pretty common for these compasses.
Overall Length = 15 1/2"
Needle Length = 6"
Vial assembly (1) Length = 2 3/4"
Vial Assembly (2) Length = 2 1/8"
Tangent Screw Length = 4" (End to End)
(NO SIGHTING VANES AVAILABLE)

Possibly A Dietzgen Auxiliary Mining

We believe this is a Dietzgen auxiliary mining telescope.
These mount on the side or on top of the original telescope for a transit
with the mining scope studs.
This scope appears to be missing the tangent and base but if you have these items this
will make a great addition to your collection.
Optics are great and the cross wires are intact.

W. & L. E. Gurley 1900's Tripod Leg (Original Take Off Part)

This is a very nice original W. & L. E. Gurley straight leg tripod leg with
point. This is in original condition and if you need a replacement
leg this could be the one. It has the normal dings but there are no signs
of cracking or splitting.
It is off a full sized Gurley Straight leg tripod and has the following
measurements;57 1/2" Tall (From The Tip Of The Point To the Top)
5/16" Hinge Gap
1 3/4" Bolt length
